I stopped by Engine 31 for a visit Saturday afternoon and they generously invited me to have lunch with them. After weathering some abuse I sat down to some great chow put out by Leo and crew. He had prepared some delicious "Garrigan" style engine house pizzas with half a dozen side dishes. True to form, they were interrupted halfway through the meal by a box alarm. Upon hearing that 31's was stretching, I put down my pizza (tough decision) and responded to the scene to take a few photos. Typically, they put it out so fast that I only got a few good action shots. E31, E34, S4, Ladder 22 and Chief 5 responded. It was a nice afternoon for a retired FEO. You guys did a great job and I appreciate the meal and the conversation. Thanks,
